About Me

For 13 years I have been writing and publishing content. Most of my published work has been on emerging U.S. Cities, entrepreneurship, and articles in the world of thoroughbred horse racing. As a former high school and college coach, I write a great deal of content for coaches as well.

Many years ago, I pursued a life-long dream of coaching at the college level. That experience took me to two College World Series, two years with the athletic performance staff of a Big Ten institution, and six years beside two coaches who have combined for seven national championships. I am grateful for so many mentors along the way- George Wares, John Tschida, Chuck Bredlow, Mark Hill, Will Peoples, Aurmon Satchell, Sara Wiley, Cal Dietz, and many more. My other interests include the NHL, horses, walkable cities, reading, and studying the financial crisis. My favorite places are Vancouver and Seattle.
